Waste Water Treatment Facility
The Livingston Waste Water Treatment plant employs four full-time licensed operators, including a Plant Supervisor and Laboratory Technician. After Thickening and Aerobic digestion, we process the bio-solids through our de-watering unit, the dewatered biosolids are either processed into compost which consists of recycled wood chips from the green waste pile at the transfer station or Sun Mountain Lumber, and biosolids material from our press. The alternative to compost is transferring the biosolids to the Logan landfill.
