REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS- FIREWOOD

The City of Livingston will accept proposals for two (2) separate piles of green ash logs/firewood. Each pile contains roughly 5 full cords consisting mostly of green ash hardwood. The piles may be inspected at the City of Livingston Public Works complex at 330 Bennett Street from 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. Each pile will be a separate proposal labeled Pile 1 or Pile 2. Sealed proposals must be received in City Hall by Thursday, September 1st, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Payment will be due upon acceptance of proposal(s) and the wood removed within 30 days after the awarding of the proposal(s).

THE MINIMUM PROPOSAL MUST BE $500.00 PER PILE. The money collected from this firewood will be used to purchase more trees for Livingston’s urban forest.

Sealed proposals should be sent to Paige Fetterhoff, 220 East Park Street, Livingston, MT 59047, or hand delivered to the City Hall. Mark the envelope "Wood Proposal" with the corresponding pile number. Proposals will be opened on late Thursday, afternoon, or early Friday. The bid will be awarded to the highest bidder and notified by Shannon Holmes, Public Works Director following the opening of the proposals.
