Jack Luther
Mr. Luther is a retired U.S. West Telephone Company employee. He is a member of the Genealogical Society, past president of the Park County Historical Society, and is currently a Yellowstone Bus Historical Tour driver.
Thomas Blurock
Mr. Blurock joined the Historical Preservation Commission in February 2020. He recently renovated a building in historic downtown Livingston. Thomas brings with him a Master’s in Architecture and 50 years of experience in design and planning, having owned his own award-winning firm for 35 years. Early in his career, he was involved in numerous downtown revitalization projects in California and along the East Coast. Thomas has developed historic preservation master plans for two communities in New Hampshire and Vermont. He is interested in helping Livingston maintain the character we all love.
Lindie Fink Gibson
Lindie Fink Gibson is a 4th-generation Livingston native; her ancestors came from Norway in 1886 and were founding members of our community. Lindie was raised in the original AW Miles home at 222 South 6th Street and has always been interested in our community, its people, and historic preservation. She retired in 2021 after a 40-year career as a small business owner of Pretty Good Housekeeping and is now dedicating her time to her writing career, which began when she was a junior in high school. She wrote a column in the Livingston Enterprise, journaling the American Lutheran youth group’s three-week venture to New York City to attend a nationwide conference. She has freelanced for various magazines and publications across the U.S. and was also a correspondent for the Great Falls Tribune while living in Choteau, Montana, reporting for the Teton County News.
Lindie is also an active RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) volunteer for the City of Livingston, painting in all 15 City parks, as well as completing various painting projects throughout our community during warm-weather months.
Kristin Vanderland
Kristin joined the HPC in 2021. She came to Montana from Virginia to obtain her Master’s in Architecture at Montana State University and never left. She works in the historic Lincoln School with LTS Architecture and has always nurtured a love for history.
Elijah Isaly
Elijah Isaly is a long-time resident of the City of Livingston. He manages construction projects in and around Livingston, including many within the Downtown Historic District. Mr. Isaly is passionate about restoring historic buildings while maintaining their historical integrity, and his interests and work experience will support the HPC’s efforts to ensure development in the Downtown Historic District remains historically appropriate.
