Land Use Board

The Livingston City Commission established the Consolidated Land Use Board on December 5, 2023, under the provisions of Montana Senate Bill 130. Effective February 1, 2024, this Board will assume the responsibilities of the former Planning Board and Zoning Commission.

The Board's primary role is to oversee land use and development in Livingston, including reviewing zoning amendments, subdivision applications, and planned unit developments. By guiding these processes, the Board helps ensure that growth aligns with the community’s goals for sustainability and quality of life.

The Land Use Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 P.M. in the Community Room of the City-County Complex, located at 414 E. Callender St.
