Montana DPHHS Child and Family Services Division
Federally mandated protective services for children who have been or are at substantial risk of abuse, neglect or abandonment. Investigates allegations of abuse or neglect. Works closely with the court, law enforcement, and other community service providers to obtain services for youth. Recognizes the protective capacities of families and incorporates them in assessments, decision making and actions with the goal of improving safety, permanency and well being for children.
Encourages communities to strengthen their prevention efforts and to share responsibility for the safety of their children and families. Foster parent training and licensing, home studies, resource, and referrals.

Hearts and Homes
Provides critical supportive services to families who have children in foster care, dual custody arrangements that aim to preserve and strengthen family ties. Current services court-ordered supervised visitation, custody exchange services, parenting through divorce/separation education and more. Self-referrals are accepted.

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch
Mental health center for children providing community-based services and residential treatment services for youth who struggle with regulating their emotions, and controlling behaviors. Services offered in the Livingston office include Therapeutic Youth Mentor, Home Support Services, Chemical Dependency, Case Management, Psychological Testing, Therapeutic Foster Care, Outpatient therapy.
