City-County Health Board

The City/County Board of Health operates under the authority of Montana Code Annotated (MCA) 50-2-106 through 50-2-124. The board was created to carry out the purposes of the public health system, in collaboration with federal, state, and local partners.  The City/County Board of Health is responsible for adopting and enforcing quarantine to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and furnish treatment for persons who have an infectious disease, abate nuisances affecting public health and safety.
