AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) GRANT FUNDING- Application period has closed.
History:
The City of Livingston has received a pool of funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for Local Recovery Funds. This funding is commonly referred to as “ARPA Bucket A”. The Livingston City Commission formed an ARPA Visioning Committee to help guide the process of distributing these limited one-time funds to their highest and best use. Applications will be accepted from August 15, 2022, through midnight on September 15, 2022, and can be obtained by one of the following means:
- Online, through hyperlinks under Eligibility below
- In-person at Livingston City Hall, 220 E. Park St.
- Request via an email to citymanager@livingstonmontana.org
Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
Applications and all supporting documents should be submitted to citymanager@livingstonmontana.org, incomplete applications will be returned.
Grants will be awarded based on funds available and the number of applications received. The ARPA Visioning Committee will make a final recommendation to the City Commission.
All grant awards are subject to conformity with federal requirements and a signed grant agreement will be required before any grant is released.
Eligibility terms and conditions:
The ARPA Visioning Committee has limited funding projects to the following categories:
- Support public health response
- Address negative economic impacts and aid to disproportionately impacted
- Water, sewer, and broadband Infrastructure
A non-profit is hereby defined as an entity City of Livingston presence, organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit.
Application Requirements
Applications must be complete; all requested information must be supplied and the application must be signed. Supporting documents requested may include:
- City of Livingston Business License
- Tax returns documenting residency status.
- Tax returns documenting economic harm.
- Listing of all federal or state assistance applied for and/or received (i.e., PPP loans, etc.)
- Applicants must be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service and the Montana Department of Revenue in terms of tax filings and if applicable, business / non-profit filings
- Eligibility is limited to 501c or 501c6 status. Verification is required.
