Press Release: Now seeking public comment and feedback on proposed amendments to Chapter 4 of the Livingston Municipal Code entitled Animals.

Last November, the Livingston City Commission postponed a vote on proposed amendments to Chapter 4 of the city code pertaining to Animals, wanting more time to seek public comment on proposed amendments. 

The proposed text amendments would: 

• Update outdated language
• Clean up spelling errors/ formatting errrors,
• Provide a concise and consistent direction to our citizens
• Would align the Livingston city code with updated definitions reflected at the state level, and animal welfare language
• and more
