Mel Friedman
Mel Friedman is a retired Major in the US Army and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Syracuse University. He has 35 years of business ownership and management experience.
Mel is currently employed with Counterpoint, working with developmentally disabled adults.
Mel is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Park County Senior Center and of the “Knights of Columbus”. He has past experience with the historic preservation.
Mel is married to his wife Laurellen (Relly) and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
Mel has lived in Livingston for 13 years, and says that Livingston is a beautiful city with a diverse and talented population – we have a lot to be proud of. He thinks diverse ideas have a place at the table, and he wants to be a part of a City Commission at work on positive and creative solutions.
