City Commission Meeting

The Livingston City Commission will convene for a meeting on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to interview Candidates for the position of City Manager. The Commission will begin to deliberate from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Possibly longer if necessary to deliberate the four finalists in the conference rooms at Livingston City Hall and consider extending an offer of employment to one candidate.

       Itinerary:

• 7:30 a.m. Process Begins
• 8:00 a.m. Interviews begin (45-minute - 1-hour interview slots)
• 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  - Lunch 
• 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Final interview
• 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Break
• 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Commission Review of Advisory Panel Feedback (Closed Session)
• 4:00 p.m. -? Deliberation – Closed Session Commission and GMP Consultants.
• Reopen to announce the selected candidate

Interviews are open to the public from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Commission Interviews are also available via the Zoom link below. In person seating is extremely limited due to room size.
Public comment and feedback will be taken at the beginning of the Commission Deliberation Meeting at 4:00 p.m.

The Commission will vote on one additional agenda item before moving to a closed executive session as they deliberate possible employment offers to one of the finalists.

The Commission will reconvene in a public session, opening the negotiations with the selected finalist. The Commission may extend this meeting as necessary to complete the negotiation process. The public is welcome to join and give comments when appropriate. Comments will be limited to 4-minutes each.
