Geese are frequent visitors to the lagoon in Sacajawea Park.
The City of Livingston currently maintains a number of parks within the community that provide numerous opportunities for recreation and leisure activities. To see a list of all of Livingston's Parks please visit the Parks Department page.
The Livingston Civic Center contains the Recreation Department offices, and craft /art rooms, in addition to a full court gymnasium, large kitchen, and meeting/event spaces which are available to the community for daily rentals at a very reasonable rate.
Next to the Civic Center, is Miles Park and the Miles Park Band Shell, which hosts local concerts, in addition to serving as the activity hub for the annual Summerfest Music Festival activities. The Miles Park Band Shell may also be rented on an event basis as well.
During the summer, the City of Livingston operates a municipal pool (on the corner of 2nd Street and River Drive), which includes swimming lessons, lap swimming and open swimming to our community.
